As a parent at Desert Ridge Middle School you are automatically a member of the Student, Parent, and Staff Organization (SPSO), and we would love for you to be involved.  The SPSO does not get funds from the DRMS Direct Donation and we do not hold fundraisers, so we need your assistance with a Member Contribution of a minimum of $10 per family.  It is imperative that we raise at least $3,500 this year to enable us to provide the many opportunities we have planned, such as:  

  • 8th grade graduation
  • Web Leaders
  • Student Store
  • Monthly Staff hospitality
  • Family Game Night
  • School Newsletter
  • Helping the counselors with emergency student needs.

 In recent years, we have even been able to make larger purchases such as:
  • A sound system for the Performing Arts Department
  • A mobile sound system
  • Two large pull-down screens for the gym 
  • Table umbrellas for the outside lunch area 
  • A large donation to the school garden and aquaponics projects
  • The large trophy case in the school lobby 
  • The new Diamondback mural in the reception area
  • The renovation of the fountain in the school lobby

We truly appreciate your contribution to making our school all it can be!

Donations can be mailed to DRMS (8400 Barstow Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122) or returned to the school office – note "SPSO" on the envelope.

You can also designate us to receive a portion of your contributions through the United Way

We are a qualified 501(c)(3) organization, so your donation is tax deductible.  Please use this link to print out the Donation Form.
