From March to June of 2019 he worked at Nacional Financiera NAFINSA, holding the position of distributed infrastructure coordinator.
From 2015-2019 he worked in the banking sector at Banco Nacional de Obras y Servicios Públicos, SNC (National Works and Public Services Bank) or BANOBRAS is state owned development bank in Mexico. In the ICT department, holding different positions related with IT security, telecom, Data center and Desk Service. He participated in the project “Restructuring of computing and communications infrastructure and security and integrity of information services”, managing Service Desk, technological Risk Assessment, control events of pentest and ethical hacking in the IT infrastructure. Aiding the different IT areas in the design of telecom and cybersecurity services.
In 2011-2013 he was the Manager for the “Technological Attention Center”, at the “National Commission of Physical Culture and Sport” CONADE. The design planning and operation of the Technological Attention Centre is carried by the “Autonomous University of Hidalgo” UAEH, the main aim of the project is to provide integral IT Services to CONADE.
In 2010 he worked for one year as an Internet Network consultant for “The Ministry of Communications and Transportation” SCT. The projects in which was involved were NIBA Network, Satellite Networks, web sites e-Mexico (Portales e-Mexico), and learning platform CapaciNET.
From 2006 to 2009 he was a senior research officer at Photonics Research Group at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering (CSEE), University of Essex. He carried out postdoctoral research on the “Heterogeneous IP Networks” (HIPNET) project; on the topics high performance networks Architecture and network Measurement and Monitoring. He proposed architectures, test systems, measuring tools and monitor systems for the multi-layer electro-optical networks; centering on the interoperability of different access/core transport layers and technologies, at the Ethernet and TCP/IP level.
He received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electronics from the former ESE department at the Video Networking Laboratory, University of Essex, UK since 2005. The topic of research was centered on understanding the traffic dynamics of Internet. A technique based on Packet by Packet was developed to analyze IP traffic, on different network topologies. Internet application such as video streaming, ftp, CBR and VBR traffic were used during the research.
He hold a MSc. degree in Telecommunications from SEPI-ESIME in 2000 and a Bachelors in Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications from ESIME in 1997 both of them at the “Instituto Politecnico Nacional” in Mexico City.
