There are a number of topics that I will expect most students to have a good understanding of from 6th & 7th Grade. These would be good concepts to review over the summer. If you need any help or resources for these, please contact me:
- All 4 operations with fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)
- All 4 operations with positive & negative integers
- Formulas for area & perimeter (circumference) of rectangles, triangles, circles, trapezoids
- Multiplication tables through 12’s
- How to make a complete graph (title, axis labels, appropriate scales)
- Solving simple, one-step equations (such as X+7=32 or 22-X=13)

- Transformations (rotation, reflection, translation, dilation)
- Similar and congruent figures
- Pythagorean Theorem
- Volume and Surface Area of 3-D shapes
