Hitoshi Mitsuhashi is a Professor of Organization and Management Theory in Faculty of Business and Commerce, Keio University. He is interested in social network drivers of innovation, errors in organizational learning, and organizational underestimation of competitive threats. Through his analysis, he is trying to build theories about the way organizations and human beings innovate, change, learn, and compete with each other. 

His papers appear in major scholarly journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Industrial and Cooperate Change, Strategic Organization, British Journal of Management, and Organization Studies. He teaches courses on methods for conducting business research and managerial implications of social interactions. Recent awards include Management Research Review's Highly Commended Paper Award, Best Organization and Management Theory Paper Award in Asia Academy of Management, and Distinguished Paper Award in Academy of Management Conference. He sits on theditorial board of Organization Science
