Peck Scholar in the Classroom

Students will take courses, workshops, seminars and retreats involving:

  • Leadership development
  • Special co-ops with employer mentorship opportunities
  • Capstone projects with integrated business plans
  • Assessment by external experts
  • Community outreach to build on the foundation of civic responsibility instilled through Civic Engagement

Career Portfolio

Career planning is a big part of Drexel University and the Peck Scholars Program. Throughout this program, Peck Scholars will create a career portfolio that can be used at the student's advantage during both co-op and non-co-op interviews. The Career Portfolio will:

  • Address student reflections on Sound Fundamentals©
  • Have students set self directed goals and intended professional outcomes
  • Be the  basis for career planning
  • Be introduced during the SCDC symposium
  • Build on the foundation of specialized courses, capstone program seminar and specialized co-op experiences
