Dr.Brajesh Kumar Jha is working as a Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematics, School of Technology, Pandit Deendayal Energy (Petroleum) University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India. He has previously worked at Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He has more than ten years of teaching and research experience. He holds a M.Sc. degree in mathematics from Jiwaji University, Gwalior and a Ph. D. degree in Mathematics from S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat. He has published more than 40 research papers in journals and conference proceedings like Springer, Elsevier, World Scientific, etc. He also serves as a reviewer for many international journals of repute. He has contributed to the scientific committee of several conferences and associations. He has delivered many expert talks at National and International level. He has organized many Seminars, Workshops, Short term training programs at PDPU. Two PhD students are awarded with PhD degree under his supervision. Currently three research scholars are carrying their research under his guidance. His research interest includes Mathematical Modeling and simulation of Calcium dynamics in various nerve cells like Neuron, Astrocytes etc., Fractional modeling of real world problems. Finite element modeling of Biological processes. He is a member of many international professional societies including Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics, GAMS, and many more.Â
