Dr. Azham Hussain is a Professor of Software Engineering at School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He was appointed as a dean at School of Computing since January 2022. He graduated with B.Sc. with Honours (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and M.Sc. (Information Technology) from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) and a Ph.D. (Computer Science), University of Salford, Manchester, UK. In 2016, he was selected as president of Academic Research Society Malaysia (ARMS) until now to help young researcher in research and publication. He also a deputy director at Corporate Planning Division, UUM, handling strategic planning and university ranking. He has authored and co-authored more than 250 refereed technical publications, successfully supervised 10 PhD scholars in the area of software engineering, mobile computing and user experience, served as reviewer and referee for refereed journals and conferences on software engineering as well as the examiner for more than ten doctoral and postgraduate scholars in his research areas.
