Dr. Ashwani Kumar is Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, and his laboratory of Metagenomics and Secretomics research is focused on plant microbiome, plant-microbe interaction, plant abiotic and biotic stress tolerance, lignocellulosic biofuels, and bioremediation. He supervised 5 Ph.Ds and received project grants of from UGC, DST-SERB, and DBT, Govt of India as PI and Co-PI. He has published 90 articles in international journals of high repute with a cumulative Impact factor of over 500, with Google scholar citations-8520 (Scopus Citations: 5501); i10 index 85; h index 42. He also published book (1) with Springer, 2 (CRC-AAP) 35 book chapters and gave over 30 talks at International Conferences.
