Dr. Ashwani Kumar is Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, and his laboratory of Metagenomics and Secretomics research is focused on plant microbiome, plant-microbe interaction, plant abiotic and biotic stress tolerance, and bioremediation. He supervised 7 Ph.Ds, 16 Master Dissertations and received project grants of from UGC, ANRF DST, UP Council of Science and Technology, DBT, Govt of India as PI and Co-PI. He has published 101 articles in international journals of high repute with a cumulative Impact factor of over 500, with Google scholar citations-10350 (Scopus Citations: 6800); i10 index 99; h index 50. He also published book (5) with Springer, 2 (CRC-AAP), 1 (Elsevier), 40 book chapters and gave over 60 talks at International Conferences.
