Dr. Alton Ingram currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, but was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended Yale University for his undergraduate studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. He further studied and obtained a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, completing his residencies in general and plastic surgery.

Following his years in Dallas, Texas, he took postgraduate fellowship trainings at Centro de Estuidas Ivo Pitanguy, the University of Paris, France; Baptist Hospital, Nashville; Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, Florida, and Clinica Alemana in Santiago, Chile. He is a former member of non-profit foundations which include Doctors Without Borders, Operation Smile, Habitat for Humanity, and the Viennese Opera Ball of New York.

In addition to his degree in medicine, Dr. Alton Ingram completed his MBA at Tulane University where he was a Gamma Beta Sigma honor society member and a Morton A. Aldrich Scholar. He also obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of California Berkeley and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on human anatomy, medical devices, surgical techniques, finance, and law.
