The site is open from 5pm on the 30th March until 2pm on the 1st April
Developed from a dairy farm, Linnet Clough is an all year round Scout activity centre and
camp site with facilities for a multitude of outdoor activities. It is situated on the Derbyshire
and Cheshire border, close to the towns of Marple and Stockport. Manchester is 12 miles
away with a direct train service from Marple.
The Barn Complex comprises of three separate buildings some of which were converted from the old
farm buildings. Sleeping up to 49 people in six dormitories, this complex gives plenty of flexibility for
large mixed Groups. All buildings have central heating. The dormitories are equipped with full
size bunk beds and the largest room sleeps 12 people. The adjacent modern toilet and shower block
is fully heated and has hot running water and showers.

The complex has a fully equipped modern kitchen with open plan dining room.
The Lynmouth chalet is available as a self-contained unit with 30 sleeping mats for sleeping on the floor
of the main hall. It has a fully equipped kitchen, it's own toilet block with hot and cold water. There is
staff sleeping accommodation for 6 in three rooms that sleep 2 each, there is also a small lounge.
Camping on the adjacent field is available if desired.
