All at Sea was an original work exploring the nature of the soul at sea. Inspired by memories of swimming, drowning, loss and transition - with some favourite fragments of Shakespeare, Elvis Presley and kitsch entertainment thrown in for good measure - our tale took place in the strange land of Port-U-Gal, where a group of friends and lovers had been cast adrift, only to discover that everyman and everywoman is truly an island...

Devised by Second Year BA Drama Students from the University of Northampton and conceived and directed by Carran Waterfield, artistic director of award-winning theatre company Triangle Theatre, the work drew on elements of personal testimony, mythology and classical literature to create a rich, resonant homage to the rolling ocean and its hidden depths.
