18 Asoke - Dindang Road in the HuaiKhwang district of Bangkok, is Thailand’s first and only specialized hospital offering full high quality service ranging from dermatology, plastic surgery and top of the line innovative beauty treatments. Today Asoke Skin Hospital hosted the arrival of the 28 contestants of the Miss Tiffany’s Universe 2010 Pageant for a beauty seminar. The event started with a introduction speech about Skin Hospital from Dr. Prayoon Jantrakulroj, Asoke Skin Hospital Director, welcoming the 28 lovely ladies as well as speaking about the services offered and specialized treatments available for transgender people. Dr. Piyada Tiprungkorn Board Certified of Dermatologist lectured the contestants about skincare and preventative measures necessary to maintain young, healthy, and beautiful skin. Their was a demonstration of the use of Facial Skin Scanners which utilizes a white-light (RGB) shooting system plus smart skin analysis software, which can accurately assess age of the skin, and the combined with special UV light shooting technique, the system can easily evaluate the future development of skin. Once the digital imaging system emits visible RGB light and safe UV light to the skin, various chromophores in skin cells respond to the light differently, send back remitted light. The reflected light is captured by the digital camera and analyzed by software for the light absorbed at various wavelengths, then the images created from computer analysis show the skin condition and future prediction.
Features of the Facial Skin Scanner:
The contestants were also given treatments of facial Jet Peel, an all natural, virtually painless skin treatment procedure that dramatically improves the appearance and texture of your skin. Jet Peel treatments are highly effective in skin texture improvement, wrinkle reduction, removal of unwanted pigmentation and overall skin rejuvenation. It is also very useful with acne, blackheads and other comedone eruptions as it quickly and effortlessly removes them without any pain or discomfort.
The contestants were also given treatments via Dermoelectroporation technology which utilizes the skin's water based "channels" to promote transdermal delivery of drugs by a pulsed lonthophoresis with "electroporation-like" continuous reversed polarity current. Dermoelectroporation makes it possible for either micro-molecules and macro-molecules (more than 800.000dalton like Hyaluronic acid and Eparine) to be safely delivered into the body without either modification of the ionic drug solutions pH, electrolysis effect of the ionic solution itself and no damage to tissue and cells, solving the problem traditional ionthophoresis systems usually cannot. Differently from Electroporation, that cannot eliminate side effects on the patient, Dermoelectroporation uses pulses that are controlled in value, time duration and electrical characteristics which the patient's skin can tolerate with no problem.
Asoke Skin Hospital uses cutting edge technology and state of the art medical equipment certified and approved by the US Food and Drug Administration and the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand.
