Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere The Authority came down off of its Lilith V buzz from last week. Seeing the vision of Lilith validated the murder of Roman and their hungers. They seemed pretty excited to be eating babies freely, now. Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) tried to covertly convince Bill that Lilith was an illusion brought forth by the fact that they were unbelievably high. Bill seemed to think this made sense. That is, until Salome (Valentina Cervi) attempted to coerce him to see things her way. She had a young mother tied to the bed in her room and bullied Bill into drinking her dry. Bill refused, at first. He remembers being a parent too well; however, after a flashback, things changed. Salome questioned why, if he loved his children, he never turned them into vampires. Bill believed immortality to be a curse. After remembering the vision of his daughter dying a slow and painful death by internal rotting (gross), Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere he seemed to have a change of heart. He drank! Was it strategy or did Bill really give into the fundamentalists?
Jason (Ryan Kwanten) arrived in time to stop Sookie (Anna Paquin) from zapping away all of her Lite-Brite powers. It actually didn’t take much convincing on Jason’s part to make Sookie realize that her powers are a gift, not a curse. She would never had met Bill Compton and she would never have been able to speak to Gran beyond the grave (Gran would still be alive, though. Shh, Jason!). Sookie decided to join Jason on his vigilante mission to avenge their parents’ murder. After all, it’s not losing her powers that would Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere bring her peace but killing their killer.
They hightailed it back to the fairy safe-house to speak with Claude (Giles Matthey) and his sisters, the other Claudes. Rather than eliminating her powers and becoming normal, Sookie decided to tap into the secret powers deep inside they’ve alluded to. The fairies come up with a plan to help Sookie discover her parents’ murders. The next day, the group reunites at the bridge where they died and form a circle. Sookie was meant to relive the memories of her mother through the time ripple of the location. As Einstein, a fellow halfling, discovered, space and time have a connection. Therefore, it is possible, with some fairy powers, to tap into the past. Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere Sookie relived the memory mistakenly through the vampire, though. She envisioned Claudine, her fairy godmother, warding off the vampire and she just barely caught a muffled name. Mission accomplished! Sort of! Claude got mad at her for imprinting on a murderous vampire. Don’t they want to run into him? That was the point. Does Sookie really even have a problem dealing with vampires now that she can control her spirit fingers?
Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) had a rough week. She started the night fine enough, dancing along with the strippers at Fangtasia and picking up a random fang-banger who claimed to taste like a milkshake. Wouldn’t the turn a vampire off? That sounds like drinking mud to me. Only problem, the guy was an undercover member of that hillbilly bigot club. The plan was to kidnap poor Jessica, silver her, and hand her over to Hoyt (Jim Parrack) the goon. They handed hoyt a gun loaded with silver-wooden bullets and locked him in a room until he manned up and killed Jessica. “She’s already dead,” they reasoned. Somebody needs to eat these people, pronto! Maybe it can be Sam. He managed to scare some information about the kidnapping out of the arrested fool, and he, Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere Luna, and Andy headed over to the hate group’s headquarters to rescue Jessica.
Jessica apologized to Hoyt for falling out of love with him. I won’t judge you, Jessica. Desperate times! Hoyt had a change of heart and un-silvered Jessica. The guy who captured Jessica at Fangtasia stormed in, and she snapped that milkshake’s head like a bendy straw. She thanked Hoyt. Hoyt cursed her. Not like the Ifrit curse. Just the good old American “F*ck you.” Really? Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere It’s entirely his fault that she was even in this position, and although Jessica does need a bit of wakeup call this , that was not a good one.
Because it was daytime, Hoyt went out looking for help while Jessica stayed behind. Sam and the gang showed up to sniff out the place. Luna smelled a woman covered in Cheetos, then passed out. Sam got her back to her place where they had a heart to heart and apologized for butting heads all long. She was convinced that she was about to die Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere and she very well might. Making up was like breaking a spell. Sam #2 transformed back into Luna and puked.
Alcide (Joe Manganiello) got into some serious trouble this week, too. The time came for his big match-up with JD over the position of pack master. Call me crazy, but I just thought they were going to duke it out. Apparently, it’s more of a contest. Typically, they hunt some sort of specific animal and the first to capture it wins. This time, though, V-addict JD kidnapped a college track star and planned on using him as the game. Alcide refused to kill an innocent boy, but JD refused to back down from the chase. He went after the kid, anyway. Alcide chased after JD Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere and caught up to him just as he caught the runner. A minor fight broke out, but Martha (Dale Dickey) showed up to break it up. JD won the title and kicked Alcide out of the pack.
Lafayette’s (Nelsan Ellis) story seemed to tie up entirely this week. He drove home from Don Bartolo’s love shack and envisioned a perfectly fine looking Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) spirit in the passenger seat beside him. A little vampire blood touched up his bleeding lips, and he seemed to make peace with mourning Jesus. I’m glad this is over with. Maybe now, Lafayette can get back to being funny! Downton Abbey Season 3 Episode 1 Premiere That wasn’t all for Lafayette this week, though. Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Holly (Lauren Bowles) were waiting at his house when he arrived back in Bon Temps. Their plan, convince Terry (Todd Lowe) and Patrick (Scott Foley) that the Ifrit is a figment of his imagination through a fake seance.
