  • My Artist Resume I am applying to join the Catonsville Art Guild for the second year, and they asked me to write a short Artist Resume, so I thought I'd share it with you:I began making jewelry in eighth grade, taught by my sister.  She introduced me to the world of beading and I was hooked!  For about ten years, I made jewelry for myself and as gifts, and then a friend suggested I sell it, which allows me to experiment with many more designs, colors, and techniques.  I am constantly learning and inspired by other artists and the world around me.If you are an artist near (or in) Baltimore, I recommend that you check out the Catonsville Art Guild ...

  • October Update NOTE: This post was originally written on October 10, so the first paragraph refers to October 15.   Happy October! I can't quite decide whether I should put away my t-shirts and capris and switch over to sweaters, or not!  Every time I think I have this weather figured out, it changes.  Oh, well--at least it meant that we had a gorgeous weekend, and it looks like it will be lovely this weekend.  I'm thrilled about that because this will be my last weekend at the Fenton Street Market, in Silver Spring.  I am hoping for a lovely, crisp autumn day to enjoy being outside, and seeing some of you!  My good friend, Terry Drosdak, will be ...
