Easyfundraising - support Dorking Philharmonia for free!

You can now support Dorking Philharmonia at no cost just by doing your online shopping through easyfundraising.

Just click on the link and select 'Dorking Philharmonia' as your chosen cause.
Every time you buy something online, via the easyfundraising site, some money will be donated to the orchestra.
Most stores are on there - Amazon, Debenhams, M&S, Laithwaites etc as well as all kinds of other companies such as insurance, travel and even utilities.
It sounds too good to be true, but it actually works!
You can even download easyfundraising's 'find and remind' gadget which shows a little drop down reminder if you visit an online store where a purchase could result in an easyfundraising donation. You can then just click on the reminder (rather than having to open the easyfundraising site and search for the store you want through it) which is much easier and a handy reminder.

Chair Sponsorship and Programme Advertisements

Chair sponsorship is a wonderful way to support the orchestra.
We currently have sponsors for two chairs:

Roger and Andrea Hall     (second oboe)
Sarah and John Winter    (deputy leader)

Other offers of sponsorship are always welcome too - perhaps for the performance of a particular work, or for printing of the concert programme.
You can also advertise your business, organisation or event by paying to have an advertisement in the programme.
For more information on any form of sponsorship, please contact us.

Community Support and Sponsorship

Occasionally we get support from local foundations and trusts. In 2005 The Foyle Foundation and Gatwick Airport Community Trust very kindly enabled Dorking Philharmonia to buy its own set of four timpani (kettle drums).

The timpani is the most commonly seen percussion in Dorking Philharmonia concerts; in fact it is rare for us not to need them, so to have our own set has been invaluable, enabling us to more effectively offer opportunities to a range of student and experienced players to perform with the orchestra.

We are very grateful for the contributions made in many different ways by all our supporters.
