Choose or create your SMTP server at send time

SendVia is a Thunderbird add-on that allows to select or create the SMTP server that will be used for sending the current message. Inspiration comes from the smtpswitch extension, but it fixes some of its weaknesses.

  • New version 1.0.2, improves the management of SMTP servers, cooperates with other addons that modify the `Send' action and adds a useful status line to composer windows. Download it from here!

Once installed and activated in thunderbird, compose a new message and have a look at the "Send" button. It now has a menu looking like this:
