I work in the area of ethics and political philosophy and also have a background in economics.
The topic I have most focused on is the ethics of climate change. This involves issues of global justice, intergenerational justice, risk, human rights, non-ideal theory, and the normative underpinnings of economics. My work connects theory and practice.
I am a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. For more information, see my CV. I am also on Twitter.
In addition, I am the director of "Effective Altruism for Christians" -- an initiative to bring the valuable insights of the effective altruism movement to the Christian community.
