I work in the area of political and moral philosophy. I also have a background in economics.
The topics I have covered most extensively are: intergenerational justice, global justice, climate ethics, effective altruism, risk, human rights, non-ideal theory, animal ethics, and the normative underpinnings of economics. My work connects theory and practice.
I am a senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. For more information, see my CV. You can find me on LinkedIn and Twitter. I am a father of three boys and a board member of Christians for Impact.
