Patrick Dodd (born August 1, 1967, (McCall, Idaho) is a well traveled entrepreneur currently living in Durham, England with his wife Olga and daughter Ailish.

Dodd grew up in the small town of McCall, Idaho where he would spend the summers swimming, fishing and riding dirt bikes and winters training with the local ski team. Dodd graduated from Meridian High School in 1985 and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to attend the University of Utah and work as a ski coach for the Snowbird Ski Team.

After graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish, Dodd moved to Chile where he worked as an English teacher and ski coach for the Punta Arenas Ski Team. Dodd returned back to the United States after breaking his femur in a nasty ski accident.

His time living in Chile was the catalyst in deciding to enroll at the top ranked International MBA program, Thunderbird - The Garvin School of International Management, to study International Business. Dodd graduated from Thunderbird in 1995 and began working for an Internet startup developing reseller distribution channels for the first commercially viable virtual server. In 1998 Dodd decided to jump back into the international arena and joined the MBA Enterprise Corps (MBAEC).

The MBAEC took Dodd first to Moscow, Russia then eventually Kharkiv, Ukraine assisting small to medium sized businesses with business planning, market analysis and grant writing. After his assignment, Dodd joined SigmaBleyzer, the largest private equity firm in Ukraine, as an analyst for business opportunities in the burgeoning high-tech sector.

After leaving Sigma Bleyzer, Dodd has pursued his entrepreneurial aspirations which have included opening two restaurants in Kiev, developing a proprietary peer-to-peer gaming application for desktop and mobile platforms, and starting an offshore software development business that combines web application development, content management solutions and corporate communications consulting to deliver cost-effective, competitive and sustainable solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises.

Dodd left Kiev with his wife and daughter in 2005 so that his wife could pursue a MSc in Finance at Durham University.  It was not long after Olga began her Master's work that she decided to parlay her MSc into a PhD.  Having put down roots in Durham, Dodd is now the Marketing Manager for Shared Interest.
