Q & A
Are both models compatible with iPad 4th Generation that was announced today (Oct 23, 2012) ?
From what we were able to find out, this new iPad has the same dimensions as the the new iPad ( or iPad 3) release about 6 months ago, therefore yes both models are compatible.
In adition to the water protection test, our products are tested against drops and impacts,
too, in order to comply with the US military standard MIL -STD-810F. The conditions of the
test are specified in method 615.5 procedure IV.
The product to be tested is dropped 26 times from a height of 122 cm (48 inches) onto
concrete. It has to hit the floor in each vulnerable position, which means faces, edges and
corners. After the test, the products have to be fully operational and present no visual damage.
Why this procedure? Field data have shown that a typical piece of portable material will be
dropped from heights up to 122 cm, (average chest height), on average of four to six times
during its life circle. The 26-drop requirement ensures each vulnerable point of a product is
To comply with other standards, other conditions can be set for the drop test, too.
Before starting a drop test, all corner, edges and sides which can be the first to hit the floor, have to be defined as test points. After hat, the device has to fall down on every of these points to make sure that the whole device is rugged against impacts.

Various information on accessories, parts replacement and conversion from iPad to iPad2.
Yes, there are replacement kits available for both the silicone buttons and the translucent foil if they were ever damaged.
No, the RAM mounts only work directly with the High end Military grade Andres cases with or without the Quick Snapper and the later does not fit the economical model case. The good news is there is now a mounting bracket available called AM-Stand.
Yes, we ship to any location or we will work with your local distributor when possible.
The cases were specificaly design for the iPad and iPad2, we don't know how they would work for a Galaxy tab, if it's smaller in every direction then you would probably need to find some way to shim it in the corners.
YES with the high end model from Andres, there a USB cable accessory that connect and keeps the unit waterproof while charging.
The economical model does not offer this option, the iPad has to be removed to connect the charging connector. (We have recently received feedback from a customer who built a induction charger that allows charging the iPad wirelessly) (http://www.instructables.com/id/NEW-IMPROVED-SpaPad-II/) NOTE: we do not sell this option...
