Google Sketchup for Mathematics

The following links lead to display of Flash videos (generated by WINK screen capture tutorial editing software) of planar and 3D solids created using Google Sketchup (GSU).

These videos help the pupil to visualize the given mathematical concept/problem through illustrations in colour, 3D representation and animation.
They could also be the desired end product of student projects where guided or self exploratory activities are incorporated.

For educators, you will see how Google Sketchup and WINK (practically free software) is being used to create lesson demonstrations for topics in
2D and 3D geometry.  In particular the ease of use and yet powerful features of  GSU makes it a potentially excellent tool to teach and learn Mathematics
through virtual manipulation of 2D & 3D objects.
