Visual Dictionary of Colour was a workshop for 2nd and 3rd year undegraduate students that I conducted at the National Art School, Sydney, in Drawing Week at the start of the 2017 academic year. The brief of the workshop was to contribute to an exhibition illustrating specific colour-related terms using media of the students’ choice, including drawing, painting, photography, digital illustration and 3D models. Works from the workshop were included in a display at NAS by the Colour Society of Australia NSW Division to celebrate International Colour Day 2017.
A 56-page illustrated pdf documenting the entire International Colour Day exhibit can be downloaded by clicking here.
