Welcome to diy mini corn cleaner! This site details the construction of a small scale corn cleaner and may be of interest to owners of indoor corn stoves.

I manually load corn into my corn stove using a 5 gallon bucket. This would usually create a dust cloud that eventually would settle on everything in the room. By passing the corn through this cleaner first, I am able to significantly reduce the amount of dust created. It does not eliminate all of the dust but I am happy with the results.

This project is cheap and simple to build. To operate, simply pour corn into the top of the cleaner. It passes over 1/4" hardware cloth and then into a catch bucket placed at the bottom right side of the cleaner. Fine particles fall through the wire mesh and exit the cleaner at the bottom on the left side and can be used for bird food or composted.
