I have completed my PhD from Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology under the supervision of Dr. Manish K. Gupta. My thesis focused on area of DNA computing that deals with designing DNA codes for different applications, specifically, DNA based data storage system. I have explored areas DNA origami ,DNA data storage, DNA coding, algebraic theory, biological coding theory, DNA nano structures designing. For more details visit Research page.

My research area is Designing of DNA codes and their related applications. In particular, my Ph.D work includes studying DNA codes using algebraic coding by developing DNA codes from rings. I have also explored DNA data storage system and proposed DNA codes applicable for DNA data storage.

My future research interest is to explore problems which can seek solution at the synergy of these field. Considering, a biological system as a communication channel, I am interested in studying biological coding theory which allows to find the solutions from coding theory for biological problems.

I have done my M.Sc internship at National Centre for Cell Sciences pune. My project was on Genetic Circuit designing by Synthetic Biology approach. I have work on project entitled "Synthetic Biology in Leishmaniasis:Design, Simulation and validation of constructed Genetic Circuit" under the guidance of Dr. Shailza Singh.
