Divine Mery Takes To the Highway.....
Saint Faustina was a polish nun who revealed to the world the desire of Jesus to establish the Feast of Divine Mercy.
Through her diary, Jesus explains His mercy and the need for conversion, and to spread it to others. The Feast day of Divine Mercy was granted by Pope John Paul ll in 2000.
"My mission will not come to an end upon my death..I will draw aside for you the veils of heaven to convince you of God's goodness." (Diary, 281)

"I promise that the soul that will venerate this image will not perish. I also promise victory over [its] enemies already here on earth, especially at the hour of death. I Myself will defend it as My own glory." (Diary, 48)

Divine Mercy Bumper Sticker Survives the Fire!
Below is an email we received (had been sent to a third party, that forwarded it to us) from someone who saw our Divine Mercy bumper sticker, that survived a fire.....
First off, its been so lovely getting to know all of you through mom's group. I really mean it and hope to see you guys around town this summer. Our Tuesdays will seem bare!
Second, remember that cool presentation Carol and Kelly gave on the Divine Mercy? Remember the card with the image of Jesus, that was painted to resemble St. Faustina's visions?
OK, so we were walking down Langdon Street yesterday, aka UW's Fraternity Row, when we came upon one of those pillars where everyone posts their fliers. They're usually with stuff for college kids and can get quite questionable, if you know what I mean. Well, this one was vandalized... someone set fire to it and it is CHARRED. There are only a few fliers still on the pillar and they're almost unrecognizable with soot and being half burned...
... at the top of one of the sides of the pillar, there is a bumper sticker with the divine mercy image and the Phrase 'Jesus, I trust in You.' The edges are slightly burnt but otherwise its in almost perfect condition. Its the only thing remotely recognizable and I don't think that's a coincidence. Its really amazing and if you can get to Langdon before they replace the pillar its a really cool thing.
Take care of yourselves and your families!
Divine Mercy Response to a Tight Deadline!
Secretary of My mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice is near (965).
Then I saw the Mother of God, who said to me ... "I gave the Savior to the world; as for you, you have to speak to the world about His great mercy and prepare the world for the Second Coming..." (635).
Once when St. Faustina asked Jesus, “Tell me, who is the cause of Your sadness? And Jesus answered,
souls who do not have My spirit, who live according to the letter [cf. 2
Cor. 3:6] and have placed the letter above My spirit, above the spirit
of love. I have founded my whole law on love, and yet I do not see love, even in religious orders. This is why sadness fills my heart”
The Divine Mercy Pope - John Paul ll
“It is not charity to leave others in the dark with respect to the truth:
It is not charity to feed the poor or visit the sick and offer them human resources without speaking to them of the Word that saves.” Pope John Paul ll (LOsservatore Romano, English, November 6, 2002)
"My daughter, if I demand through you that people revere My mercy, you should be the first to distinguish yourself by this confidence in My mercy. I demand from you deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love for Me. You are to show mercy to your neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to excuse or absolve yourself from it.
I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy toward your neighbor: the first-by deed, the second-by word, the third-by prayer. In these three degrees is contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for Me. By this means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to My mercy.
Yes, the first Sunday after Easter is the Feast of Mercy, but there must also be acts of mercy, and I demand the worship of My mercy through the solemn celebration of the Feast and through the veneration of the Image which is painted.
By means of this Image I shall grant many graces to souls. It is to be a reminder of the demands of My mercy, because even the strongest faith is of no avail without works.
O my Jesus, You yourself must help me in everything, because You see how very little I am, and so I depend solely on Your goodness, O God.
