Deep Tissue/ Sports Massage, & Trigger Point Therapy provide therapeutic relief from chronic tension and stress. Furthermore Deep Tissue/ Sports Massage and Trigger Point Therapy targets deeper layers of the muscles, and connective tissues making it very effective for relieving chronic muscle tension. The therapist uses Sports Massage techniques Deep Tissue Massage pressure along with other modalities such as Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Shiatsu, Tui Na and Neuromuscular Therapies to overcome adhesions, alleviating pain while restoring balance health and tranquility within ones self.  

 

Swedish Massage is a classic to relieve muscle pain, tension and stress. Swedish Massage is a very gentle and relaxing type of massage. The therapist applies lotions and oils targeting the skin and superficial layers of muscles. This massage helps to improve blood and lymph circulation.  

 

Thai Massage: This technique will loosen and align the body. Thai Massage is a form of massage therapy that originated in Thailand. Thai Massages composed of stretching techniques; it is very effective in improving overall flexibility and range of motion.

 

 

Tui Na is a Chinese Massage system that incorporates osteopathic manipulation techniques. Tui Na's gentle deep structural realignment involves treating the nervous system primarily through the skeletal structure by correcting structural abnormalities in muscles, bones, nerves, and lymphatic’s. Tui Na will leave the body in prime condition to function at full capacity! Furthermore after using Tui Na hands-on gentle manipulations successively one treatment the patient experienced significant to zero sciatic pain and numbness. Tui Na / "Tuina" appears to be effective in treating sciatica, hip pain, thigh pain, back pain, stomach pain and neck pain. 

 

 

Shiatsu/ Acupressure is a Japanese form of massage based on traditional Chinese medicine. Shiatsu applies deep pressure on Acupuncture meridian points to restore, open up, release stagnation, and rebalance the flow of energy in the body and mind.

 

 

 

Reflexology is a type of foot massage that uses Chinese medicine’s meridian acupuncture points on the feet. Promoting relaxation, improving circulation. Reflexology is great for soothing tired and achy feet. 

 

 

 

 

PNF: Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (Body Resistance) This is a technique during which a muscle is stretched to resistance and held for 10 seconds, followed by the client contracting the muscle for 5 seconds.
