The entire school walked around the P.S.315 building in effort of creating awareness for Breast Cancer. Parents, the PTA and family friends joined the children, teachers and staff for the walk. Some classes chanted “fight cancer” while holding signs and wearing pink for support. Thank you for everyone who came out!

P.S.315 held their annual harvest festival alongside the parents association volunteers and Flatbush Development Corporation afterschool program staff members. There were many photo ops while the kids painted pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, danced to songs and got spooked in the haunted hallway!

Twenty-five brave contestants competed for their chance to represent our school in the district spelling bee. Congratulations are in order for Angel Familia for winning first place in the P.S.315 Fifth Grade Spelling Bee! GOOD LUCK to Angel, that’s spelled G-O-O-D L-U-C-K!
