Al-Anon’s Tradition Seven:
“Every group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.”

There are a few ways an Al-Anon/Alateen member can make a financial contribution to the District 16–Tri-Valley Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG):
1. Cash or Check: Cash or check contributions are accepted at all Al-Anon or Alateen meetings.
2. Credit Card: Contributions via credit card are accepted on this website and at certain events. Please read the information below:
  • This website is owned and maintained by the District 16 – Tri-Valley Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG). Our purpose is to help families and friends of problem drinkers by delivering the Al-Anon message through support of the Al-Anon and Alateen groups in the Tri-Valley: Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Sunol.
  • Al-Anon's seventh tradition states: “Every Group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions”; i.e. only members may contribute.
  • Personal contributions to the Al-Anon fellowship may be tax deductible, as the Al-Anon fellowship is registered as a 501 © (3) non-profit organization. Please consult with your tax advisor.
  • For limits on giving, please see the Service Manual.
  • A small percentage of the amount you elect to contribute goes to Square, the secure credit card processing service that we use. The transaction fee is .30 + 2.9% of the transaction. For example, for a $10.00 donation, .59 cents goes to Square. An email receipt will be sent within minutes of having made a contribution. Note that Al-Anon does not endorse Square or any other electronic commerce providers. A Square account is not required to make a contribution.
Contributions can only be accepted from Al-Anon and Alateen members. By checking the box below, I acknowledge that I am a member.
