Building Student Identity Through ePortfolios

Building Student Identity Through ePortfolios - Sun., Feb 26, 8:30-11:30a

Don Peterson & Skip Via

This session examines current and emerging uses of electronic portfolios in post-secondary education. We’ll take a look at a proprietary eportfolio (specifically LiveText) and its current application in the UAF School of Education. In addition, the session will examine the use of Google Sites as a platform for student portfolios in the M.Ed. Online Innovation and Design program and other UAF classes. We hope to facilitate a discussion of the role of eportfolios in teaching and learning and explore practical solutions for implementation. Please bring your own questions and examples of eportfolios that you can share.
