Spiced Candied Walnuts

INGREDIENTS:
2 c. walnuts
1/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. sea salt
1/4 t. cayenne pepper (or to taste)
 
DIRECTIONS:
Blanch walnuts in boiling water for 30 seconds to one minute.  Drain in colander.  Add in all spices.  Toss well with spoon to coat all nuts.  Spread on parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes.
