Sauteed Broccoli Sprouts with Bacon and Pine Nuts

1 lb. fresh brussels sprouts
2 T. olive oil
4 slices bacon
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup water
1/4 c. pine nuts
1/2. t. salt
1/4 t. pepper

Heat a large saute pan over medium heat. When sizzling, add in bacon. Stir, breaking up bacon about 2 minutes.  Slice core end of brussels sprouts and slice each one in half.  Add olive oil to pan and then brussels sprouts.  Saute brussels sprouts for 7 minutes stirring often over medium heat.  Press in garlic and add salt, pepper and water. Cover and steam another 5 minutes. Add pine nuts and stir another 2 minutes.
