Mom's Strawberry Freezer Jam

2 c. strawberries (can use frozen, but thawed out)
4 c. sugar
1.75 oz. packet Sure-Jel
3/4 c. water 
De-stem and cut up the strawberries or thaw if using frozen. Put in food processor and process to small chunks.Pour into bowl and add 4 cups of sugar.n  Stir until sugar is dissolved.  In small saucepan, heat water and Sure-jel to boil, and stir one minute only.  Pour into strawberry/sugar mixture. Stir for 3 minutes exactly.  Pour into 4 containers and let sit for 24 hours undisturbed.  Leave lids off until completely cool, about one hour. Then put in freezer.
