Katie Johnstonbaugh's Homemade Créme Fraìche

1 c. heavy whipping cream
2 T. buttermilk

Pour both ingredients into a bowl.  Whisk to mix well.  Place in the microwave with enough time to warm the liquid (not hot).  Cover with a clean towel or cloth and place in a warn area.  Let set for 24 hours. Stir every 6 hours.  Will store in refrigerator for up to 10 days.
