Dear Einstein Entrepreneurs,

The entrepreneurship program by Utrecht Refugee Launchpad is open to refugees and "statushouders" in Utrecht and residents of Overvecht. During the first part of the program, Utrecht University will help you to develop your entrepreneurial skills. The first eight weeks you will work in groups on a self-chosen project to learn the entrepreneurial basics for competitive markets, like finding customers, finding out what they really need and figuring out how to provide for their needs. We call that "creating customer value". Your job as an entrepreneur is to have lots of happy customers and a nice profit. After the first eight weeks, you can continue the group project or start your own company with the support of Social Impact Factory.

Who can participate:
  • Anyone who is a resident of Utrecht or refugee / "statushouder" in Utrecht and wants to learn about entrepreneurship
  • No diploma or Dutch or English language skills required
Start and duration of the course:
  • Duration:

The Course follows the steps in the "Design Thinking" process, with is developed by Tim Brown at IDEO. The method greatly helps entrepreneurs deal with finding customers and creating customer value. For the course, you don't need books. We use this site. You need paper and a pen to make notes and a mobile phone to study this site, that's all.
