DBEE. Humic Xeric Vitricryands.—These soils are like Typic Vitricryands, but they have both a mollic or umbric epipedon and a xeric moisture regime. These soils are of small extent in the United States. They are mainly in Washington. They commonly support coniferous forest vegetation. Most are used for timber production, but some are used as recreational areas.
