Dinesh Nath

Hello!

Thanks for visiting here. I work in the area of computational modeling and simulation. My research interests are Computational Fluid Dynamics, Magnetohydrodynamics, Nuclear Fusion and Arc plasma, Electric arc furnaces, Continuous casting, Aerosol dynamics, Mathematical Optimization, Meshless, and other Numerical Methods.

Some problems I have been recently working on were modeling of electric arc plasma and fluid (hot liquid metal) flow simulations in the steel industry, such as continuous casting and melting/solidification.

In the past, I have primarily worked in various areas of computational fluid dynamics, either using ANSYS or OpenFOAM or writing my computer codes in MATLAB or FORTRAN. My Ph.D. work was related to developing meshless methods for the fusion plasma and tokamak. Details of areas of research are given in the Research and Development tab.
