Our annual celebration to welcome our wonderful interns from Japan is held annually in mid-late September at Sand Lake Elementary. Please bring a dish and your family!

The Fall Family Dinner is annually held at Mears Middle School at Mears Middle School in celebration of Japanese culture and the beginning of the school year. Throughout the night there is a Taiko performance, a silent auction, cupcake walks, games, karaoke, a bouncy house and much more! Bring your family and friends, tickets can be purchased at the door. Students, ask your teachers about volunteering to set up!

Japanese Speech Contest

The Japanese Speech Contest is held annually around March, and students can participate in skits, songs, poem recital and other activities. There will be Taiko performances and many other fun things to be announced. More details will be available as it approaches, so check back soon! Click Here for link to their website.
