Short Biography

Research Summary
Our group's past and present research focuses on development of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques, including:
  • MRI pulse sequence design (data acquisition)
  • MR image reconstruction and signal modeling
  • water-fat MRI methodology
  • diffusion MRI methodology
with applications aiming to improve diagnostic imaging, therapy monitoring, and the understanding of disease pathophysiology, presently targeting:
  • osteoporosis
  • musculoskeletal pathologies
  • metabolic disorders (obesity and diabetes)
  • tumor imaging
