  • Wireless speakers are very similar to traditional (wired) loudspeakers, but they transmit audio signals using radio frequency (RF) waves rather than over audio cables.
  • (Wireless speaker) A loudspeaker (or "speaker") is an electroacoustic transducer that converts an electrical signal into sound. The speaker moves in accordance with the variations of an electrical signal and causes sound waves to propagate through a medium such as air or water.

Triple-Monitor Array - with Mood Lighting
Triple Monitor wall-mount bracket from Ergo In Demand. Originally had two telescoping arms, but the weight of the monitors caused the whole thing to sag. Even now I try to keep the array as close to the wall as possible. Keeping the array centered is also key, as it will sag to the left or right of not positioned carefully. Monitors are (3) matching 20" Dell 2001FP. They're older, but I'm not wild about "wide screen" monitors. Hole drilled into the wall for all cables (about 15 of them), which then drop down through the wall and come out behind the hidden panel. Unattractive ganglion of wires kept out of view. Mission control console created by hollowing out a Pottery Barn wall shelf, flipping it upside-down. A non-modified version is in the background. An 18' strand of LED "warm white" (which ends up being off-yellow) light rope is wrapped around the bank of three monitors. Yes, I did drill into the monitor plastic to support the clips for the light rope. I have a 4th bad monitor that I used as a test mule. Also visible are the aluminum flat stock that I formed and drilled to support the Creative Labs GigaWorks T40 Series II speakers. An eye-hook drilled into the monitor with copper wire supporting the speaker is also visible - that keeps the speakers snug to the monitor edge. Drilling holes into monitors and speakers isn't the best approach, but it doesn't affect functionality, and it looks good from the front.
Thank you
Thank you
Today we had the Photo Lanka calendar launch at JKCS cafeteria. It’s not necessary to mention that today is how special to the entire group. Calendar project is a tremendously successfull project so far. Well… personally today (16th) is a very special day to me as well. Exactly one year ago I uploaded my first photo to the flickr. :) What a coincident ha… As I remember I purchased my first camera (Sony H-7 P&S) one month prior to that. Throughout this entire year I learned a lot from the flickr as I never followed any course or read books on photography. Flickr was inspiring me and encouraging me. There were lots of people, especially Photo Lanka folks who helped me and encouraged me by commenting on my pictures. I don’t want to mention them by names as you can see their lovely comments throughout my stream. I would like to say thank you to all my wonderful friends in flickr! (BTW this is a experimental shot I captured at night in diferent exposures and processed as HDRI. (Couldn't use flash as its causes reflecting lights from LCDs) This pic shows my desktop at home with some of my trustworthy gadgets. Of course without my best companion after my laptop, Canon 400D camera :D)
