Testimonials

Each time I conduct a training session, I ask for participants to complete an evaluation. I believe this evaluation is important for me to learn how to improve my sessions. I consider this input critical to my reflections as a teacher and presenter. Below are some I have received. All comments are used with the permission of the author.

Sessions: Reimagining the Texbook, GAFE and iOS are Jet Fuel for Learning, and Digital Portfolios with Google Sites  - June 2015
This is not the class that I intended to take on the second day of the conference, but Karl was so terrific on the first day, I had to come back to see all the other amazing things he had to offer. I was not disappointed, and I have to say that I learned a lot!  I plan on sharing this information with my 5th grade team. My team tends to be leaders in trying new things out, and this topic has come up before. I think the information you presented to me makes digital portfolios a very realistic opportunity to try something new that has a far reaching goal.
Karl, thanks! I've enjoyed both of your presentations.

Session: Reimagining the Texbook - June 2015

Karl made this information packed workshop fun, accessible, meaningful and extremely practical. He lead our time together in such a way that gave the novice as well the more advanced participants the opportunity to come away with valuable resources for the classroom. Karl gave ample time to all participants to ask questions, work on individual projects and explore teaching resources for a variety of subject matter. I was most impressed with the time allotted during the workshop to work through the material presented. Thank you Karl for a wonderful and well spent two days learning about the digital textbook.
