About Myself

I am Dibbesh Sharma Adhikari and Recenly I worked for STEricsson Inc (JV of STMicroelectronics and Ericsson) as EMP System Engineer, where I am involved in Design improvements, Algorithm implementation, Performance simulation, Performance documentation, Code Review, Local Test Vector generation, Test Vector match up and analysis for algorithms used in GSM/GPRS Cellular Network Access physical layer on floating point and fixed point.

I did my Master of Science from University of Texas at Arlington. During my stuides, I worked as Graduate Teaching Assitant (GTA) and also worked as the member of VEL@UTA (Virtual Environment Lab), under the supervision of Dr Venkat Devarajan, where I was involved in developing new modeling techniques and algorithms for precise surgical simulation.

During my studies, I also worked as Intern/Coop in Ericsson where my major responsibilities were design improvements, debugging and testing of software used in the simulation and modelling of algorithms used in GSM/GPRS Cellular Network Access physical layer on floating point and fixed point code and documentation of those works. I have research inclination  towards Wireless and Wired telecommunication, network protocols, Programming and Graphic simulation.

 Duties and Responsibilities 

Design improvements, debugging and testing of software used in the simulation and modeling of algorithms used in GSM/GPRS Cellular Network Access physical layer on floating point and fixed point code and documentation of those work and algorithm development includes channel coding/decoding and equalization algorithms used in circuit switched voice, circuit switched data and packed data application.

Carrying out operation and maintenance jobs of the MSC like monitoring and analysis of hardware performance, Analysis of E1 and system Traffic and signaling links management, Creating and commissioning new subsystem to the system. Carrying out test and maintenance of the LGE CDMA devices. Developing the necessary utility package for day to day operation for MSC and BSC.
