Rolling in amidst a change. (Press Release)

Quincy’s Downtown is changing and there is a new energy around Washington Square. New businesses are popping up and people are transitioning to the urbanite way of life. With this energy and the new crosstown bike route taking cyclist all the way to the riverfront, Dialed sees the opportunity to help get people out on two wheels.

Dustin Robbins manager of Dialed bicycle shop, one of these new Washington Square businesses, is an advocate of cycling and communities going green. Dustin loves the urban lifestyle and is not only excited about running a downtown shop but the growth of Washington Square. Dustin has lived most his life in the Quincy and has seen for himself the transition on the Square. Dustin knows that this will translate into sales of bicycles, skateboards and scooters to help people explore the area. When it comes to cycling, Quincy hasn’t had much of a choice. Dustin says Dialed will change that. He wants to see people out going from the unique shops and eateries and exploring Quincy on Bicycles. This passion is why his slogan is #lifeonwheels.

Robbin’s stresses that If we are going to be a part of this growing urban community we need to have that old way of doing things. All the businesses need to work together and give people a reason to come down and keep coming down. Dialed will not only offer you a cup of coffee when you come through the door but you can take that cup with you so when you come back you can refill it.

We love the urban community so much we are working with Austin Properties to redo a building that we will call home. If you venture down town you will see a lot of this going on. Things are changing people are coming to the Square to walk or ride bikes, visit the shops and eateries and enjoy the riverfront. With events like Blues in the Park, Farmers market and more The park comes to life. Quincy is a beautiful city and Dustin believes there is no better way to explore it than on a bicycle. Take the time to climb on a bike and ride down Maine Street. Let the wind pass by your face as you roll by the beautiful homes and buildings that Quincy is known for. Stop at the unique shops and rest in the grassy parks. I will see you out there.

Dialed Bicycle Shop is set to open in September, this year, and will provide a place for people to buy bicycles, skateboards and scooters as well as apparel and accessories. They will service all makes and models and stress the urban lifestyle.
