National Business Coalition on Health Prediabetes Action Brief for Employers View
This National Business Coalition on Health Prediabetes Action Brief outlines the scope of prediabetes; how health plans are addressing the issues based on data from eValue8, a resource used by purchasers to track health plan performance; and actions employers can take to engage and support their workforce in improving health, preventing type 2 diabetes, reducing risk factors, and better controlling existing conditions.
One of two Public Service Announcements (PSA) through ADA's CheckUp America initiative. These PSAs, "Weigh the Risks" and "Demonstration", encourage the public to take the Diabetes Risk Test or talk with a health care provider to see if they are at risk for type 2 diabetes. The PSAs are available in English and Spanish.
