All Writers Welcome

The Downers Grove Writers Workshop meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month . We were founded in 1981 and our only purpose is to get our members to write -- write better and write more. We have poets, novelists, essayists and short story writers who attend our meetings with the dual aims of becoming better writers themselves and helping other members of the group develop their skills. Our members’ experience ranges from “just beginning” to published novelists.  All are welcome.

The workshop meets at the Downers Grove Library, 1050 Curtiss Street, Downers Grove, in the north meeting room on the first floor. Please note:
