David W. Ford is a lifelong resident of Indiana. He is veteran of just under eight years of Honorable Service in the United States Air Force, serving in Mississippi, Illinois, Colorado and South Korea while maintaining his residence in Indiana.  Upon completion of his Air Force duties, he returned to Indiana to serve his fellow Hoosiers.
David has worked as an after-school YMCA Childcare Provider at Frank O'bannon and Thomas Jefferson Elemetary Schools in Hammond, Indiana. He played the Clarinet in Grimmer Middle School's Marching Band and sings in a local church’s choir. Helped at the Keesler AFB student “Fishbowl” ministry.  Served as an imbedded mission weather forecaster for the 25th Fighter Squadron "Assam Draggins" at Osan Air Base, Republic of (South) Korea.
David was born in Lafayette, Indiana and was raised in Tippecanoe, Monroe, Lake, Bartholomew and Hamilton Counties. He is a graduate of Westfield High School. He is the son of Alan R. Ford and Karen Roach-Berea. He currently resides in Westfield with his wife, Marcie, and son, Ethan. He has a special appreciation for lawful immigration, as his wife is in the process of becoming an American Citizen.
