Welcome to my website! I am a fifth year Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of Kentucky. I am on the job market this year, and I will be presenting my job market paper at the Southern Economic Association conference in November. I will also be attending the ASSA meetings in Philadelphia this January.
I am currently a research assistant for the Center for Business and Economic Research (CBER) at the University of Kentucky. Recent projects that I have worked on include revenue forecasting for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government as well as studying export competitiveness among states in southeastern United States.
I have also taught at both the University of Kentucky and Shanghai University. Courses include introductory and intermediate macroeconomics, business statistics, and a course on macroeconomics and globalization.
My primary research interests fall within international trade and industrial organization. Mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, multinationals, antitrust, and exports are of particular interest to me.
