Welcome to my website.
I am a Senior Research Analyst in the Social Analysis and Modelling Division at Statistics Canada. In addition, I hold appointments as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Economics at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, Research Fellow of the Retirement and Savings Institute at HEC Montréal, and a Board Member of the Canadian Labour Economics Forum.
I am an applied economist with research interests in public, labour, behavioural and education economics. I have written on numerous topics such as pensions, labour supply, gender inequality, returns to education, and most recently the COVID-19 pandemic. My research has been published in national and international journals including Review of Economics and Statistics, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, National Tax Journal, Canadian Journal of Economics, and Canadian Public Policy.
I received my B.A. from Brock University, M.A. from the University of British Columbia, and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto.
