Work patterns & COT

Work in this area has included a number of EC funded projects with colleagues from all around Europe, including work on work patterns, working time and capital operating time (COT).  Work in this area has also been funded by the European Foundation for Living and Working Conditions and by various UK government departments.  The research includes conceptual and theoretical measurement and modelling of working time.  While much of the work is on the economics of working time, it has also included research on the social and physiological impact of shiftworking and hours of work patterns.
