Challenge 50 Badge

 

Choose 50 challenges from the activities below as a Section/Group to gain the Challenge 50 badge. Some may be done as individuals and others as Sections or as a whole Group. If you’re doing a big challenge, why not take some photos so we can see what you’re up to, or even better invite some of the District team and the 50th Anniversary team down to join in the fun.

 

  1. 50 Abseils across a group
  2. 50 group members attending St Georges day parade
  3. 50 knots
  4. Walk 50 miles across a group
  5. 50+ members do a sleep over on the same night
  6. 50 members ride a bike
  7. 50 biscuits eaten in 50 seconds
  8. A section gains 50 badges
  9. A section makes their leaders 50 cups of tea (across the year)
  10. Produce a 50 seconds film based on your section
  11. Hold a 50 questions quiz night
  12. Hold a fancy dress night with 50 different characters
  13. 50 sparklers in a row (bonfire night)
  14. 50 Santa hats photo across the group (why not try and get a photo of every single member in your group across all sections)
  15. 50 Christmas themed night, 50 Santa hats, 50 crackers, 50 Christmas songs
  16. 50 Easter Eggs (chocolate, boiled or papier-mâché) – maybe incorporate into a Easter Egg hut
  17. Run up and down your scout hut 50 times

  21. Get 50 members of your group to attend the 50th Anniversary Camp
