Technology is now embedded in our society. The digital age has transformed the way our young people communicate, network, seek help, access information and learn. Students are more motivated and purposefully engaged in the learning process when concepts and skills are relied with technology.
The Division of Nueva Ecija exerted its effort in giving the best opportunities for the young minds of today’s innovative society. The division initiated the offering of Special Program in Information and Communications Technology (formerly called Special ICT Curriculum) since 2006 that aims to provide students with relevant and necessary ICT skills and experiences that allow them to successfully engage with technology and prepare them for life after school.
Presently, the division has four secondary schools out of 111 secondary schools offering the special ICT curriculum namely Nueva Ecija High School in Cabanatuan City since 2006, Talavera National High School in 2008 , Dr. Ramos de Santos National High School in 2010 and Exequiel R. Lina National High School in 2011. The Pantabangan East Central School in elementary also offers special ICT class since 2011.
Since SP-ICT is now being implemented in junior high schools and one elementary school, this program will be offered to other schools this SY 2017-2018.

The Special Program in ICT envisions to develop schools as centers for excellence that foster applications of ICT to better prepare the Filipino youth for the demands of the fast evolving technology-driven society
Its mission is to provide best learning engagement in technology that will prepare the students in facing their future careers.
